Thanks, and good question - I like redfire as well. But my wife's Sienna is Salsa Red, which is pretty much Redfire...and having the two cars match would just be...strange

Motor Trend's photo car for their review of the GT vert was redfire/parchment, and looked quite nice.

Tungsten was in second place on my final list, and every little while I think maybe I should change to it...but of course I can't have those second thoughts much longer.

I'm still on the fence about stripes, too. Torch Red looks a little plain to me without one, but the only ones that really make sense on the vert are black (to match the top), and I'm not sold on those. With Tungsten, OTOH, I think a black stripe looks pretty cool even on the vert.

On the GT500, Ford left the stripes off the vert, since it's hard to get a combo that really works with the top up. I've seen a few photos on TMS of striped verts, but not many.

 

I think the same way you do. I was thinking of windveil blue but it's nearly exactly the same color as my wife's SUV. I think Redfire and Torch Red are the best colors. I've got an '02 Laser red which is very similar to Redfire, so I went with Torch this time around. The GT before my current '02 was a fabulous Bright Red so I know I'll be happy with the Torch.
