Hey guys/gals!
I just dropped my 05 off at the dealer due to it leaking gas (from the top of the tank, running all the way down to the pass lower control arm) and CEL p0442. Anyone else have this problem??

 

Have you had any fuel pump work? If so, it is possible that you have a poorly seated pump or misfit gasket. This would cause both concerns.

 

nope, haven't touched anything fuel related on the car

 

what was the resolution? any updates?

 

let me tell you about mine. Had the erratic fuel gauge worked on yesterday. pick it and drove about a mile. Pulled in to fill it up and as I filled it up 5-6 gallons poured out of the bottom of the car. took it back they did not seat the seal right. Picked it up to day and spent 1/4 tank of gas going 24.8 miles. I am very upset. The gas that was pouring out of my car was pouring right on the exhaust (if Iwould have drove all the way home it would have caught fire), And All I got was sorry
