We all love the Mustang, but........

Let's see.....
1. Like others have said poor quality interior (stupid headliner problem that the dealer says is in ford tolerances)
2. the a/c works better on the lowest setting than it does on the third or fourth, not to mention it is loud
3. The car shakes kinda funny when you go over speed bumps at any angle other than straight.
4. When you hit a bump there is a thump that goes through the whole car.
5. Big fender flare lookin things are too big
6. it hard to get stuff in though th small opening in the trunk
7. Total lack of backseat space for tall people, thats why i dont sit back there
8. the nice ford zip up thing that holds all of the manuals doesnt fit in the glovebox easily
Stuff i like:
1. Even the base sterio is decent
2. The dash is laid out fairly well to me
3. Exterior styling is better than the SN-95
4. Lots of aftermarket support (int., ext., eng., susp)
5. Theres more that i cant think of yet

I've really got only two complaints about my car. One is the gas consumption, but I didn't buy it it for an economy car, so it's not a big deal.
The other is the handling with the live axle. I knew that going in, so I have learned to live with it. I hope Ford offers IRS as an option on the Gt or a special edition in the future.
For the money, I think it's a great car and a whole lot of fun.

Lets see, what I dont like.....
1. I scractched my drivers seat with something in my pocket...
2. Tiny Trunk, but then again, never have to drive anyone to the airport like when I had my SUV
3. CD player takes soo long to load and unload CDs and doesnt play Mp3s
4. Shifter/replaced it
5. A/C STEALS POWER, then I got underdrives and Cold Air and that seems to be minimal (sp?)
6. The ability to drive over 130 miles per hour!
Things I love..
1. Exterior styling..the 99-04's pulled me into the mustang obsession
2. Interior, someone else mentioned the placticy feel, yeah drive any GM or Nissan and come back to me on that one, I have had both.
3. The whole rest of the car, who doesn't love mustangs? aside from our nemicees the Z28 owners.
4. The ability to drive over 130 miles per hour!

and since it's raining buckets here today did I mention how bad the design of the top is!!!! Seems like all the water funnels right into the car even with the window down 1/4 inch!

wheel gap!
oh boy do the six cylinders look bad...
even the GT's have too much. The wheel well is just tooooo wide.
Interior is sooo old fashioned.
Chassis is 25 years old, based on a Fairmont (my parents once had one. yikes.)
On the plus side: I spun my car out. Declared it dead (crossmember damage!), and then resurrected it. The cars are indestructible. Granted... there was no body damage, and the crossmember bolts right in. I still drive it today, and it drives straight. Made my love for the Mustang even stronger.

I have never liked where the Battery was located, adds too much nose weight! I wish they would have stuck it in the truck but I guess where they have relocated it to for the 05 model year will work well. B)
