Okay, I have a 97 GT with a Flowmaster Force II catback system. The rest of the system is factory. I am planning on keeping the factory headers for now. What H or X pipe (with cats) will work best with what I already got? It's all about hp for the money baby.

hprice ratio, i'd go with a VRS X-pipe. Its not much for the alum. version (150 or so US). Its a quality piece as well. Be warned, o/r X-pipe with flowmasters is gonna be loud along with alot of drone

o/r ?

The Flowmasters I got are quiet at idle and regular crusing so I figure with an X-pipe with cats I have some room to work with on the noise. I "try" to keep a low profie.

John, o/r=Off Road, meaning no-cats. (You may already know this. I'm just trying to help if you don't.) And they are MUCH cheaper than aftermarket h/x-pipes with Cats.

Thanks for the info, never seen it typed that way. I plan on keeping cats staying legal and spending the extra on whatever works best. It's still a daily driver.

If you are going to run cats then, check out the Magnaflow catted x-pipe. One of the best emissions friendly ones I've seen out there

Bassani and Magnaflow are very comparable. Honestly, i'm not sure, but if the Dr. Gas came with Cat's that'd be my choice.. though the cats would probably be after the X in this case :P
