all of a sudden my traction control switch doesnt work to turn off tc. the light doesnt come on or anything. is there any way i can just turn it off or do something, without ordering a new switch right away? thanks

 

If you have a tuner (SCT, Predator, etc.) you may be able to turn it off with that, but I'm not sure. Other than that, I think you're just gonna have to fix whatever the problem is.

 

I agree with Dan. Are you sure it is the switch that is broken and not a break in the wiring?
If you go with the tuner you can do numerous things for example turning off traction control. You can also 'juice' up the HP a little as well.
I would remove the switch and check it out before ordering a new one just in case it is a break in the loom.

I agree, check the switch itself first..also was there anything else on the car that went out at the same time or close to that time?

 

nope, thats the only thing, the reason i think the switch went out is because for about 6 months before it totally stopped working, the switch always didnt work, like you had to hit it a few times. and them sometimes the orange light wouldnt come on, but itd be off..so ill be sure to check the wires..and if they are intact. i think im just gonna get the tuner. itd be good do to anyway.
