If it comes down to the money then you should be driving a camry or something to haul your kids around. I am a student as well and have my own house and bills to pay minus the children. I am a auto repair technician and dont make huge money. That being said i will still tell you to buy the nittos. Safety is part of the reason, being that they are a much better compound, handle and stop much better, as well as last much longer. They are worth the money. I sell tires every day and know the differences between them. Also there should only be about a 40$ difference in the sumis and nittos last time i checked(unless you run a 315 rear like i do). Trust me they are worth the money in the long run. Obviously people still have a problem thinking about the future instead of just right now. Good luck

^Sorry, but I don't buy it. Of a similar price, you wont be able to tell the difference between 2 different tires. And the safety arguement is ludicrous. The average person in a regular car couldn't tell the difference between 2 tires in any way, shape, or form. You really dont find out how good a tire is until you start thrashing on it. As far as saving money, if you can get the same quality tires for $200 less, why would you spend the extra? Just because you have money doesnt mean you have to spend it.

I'll put in my 2 cents. The BFGoodrich G-Force Sport is by far the best tire I've ever had on a car. It grips like mad, stops wonderful, and is quiet. Even in the rain, you have to really try to break them loose. Also, they're only about $115 max. TR has them for $100 now.

Ive had gforces as well, multiple models of them. The kdws are nice but i would still take the nittos over them. Why? Because they feel like the same tire but the nittos can be had for cheaper and seemed to last longer. Like i said before i am a tech at a repair/performance shop and ive tried them all. And safety is for sure an issue with tires. Ive seen too many blowouts from sumis, nexens that dont hold air well, and kelly tires that handle like you are driving on flats. If there wasnt a difference in the performance of tires they would all be made the same, with the cheapest rubber possible. Just like shoes. Would you play basketball in a pair of walmart shoes or would you rather spend the extra and get some nice nike shocks? If im using something everyday and it involves my safety i would rsther spend a little extra and get something better. The old saying goes.... You get what you pay for

Hey everyone. I'm new to the site, but i just bought some new 255/45/18Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas for my 2002 Mustang from www.tiresbyweb.com and i wanted to share my experiences. If you're looking for tires i would recommend checking them out. I got my tires really quickly, and it was nice not having to pay for shipping. The sales people were really helpful, and seemed to ACTUALLY know what they were talking about. Not to mention the tires look amazing.

Also their facebook page has a sweet deal right now, just checked it out. Its a Fan of the Week Contest thing.

"Winners will receive a $10 off single wheel/tire purchase or $40 off a set of 4 wheels/tires.
So start sending us those pictures of you and your cars in order to become the next TiresByWeb fan of the week. Submit your photos today!"

Sounds like a pretty good deal, i got $40 off my set of tires. Always nice to save money.

Just thought id throw a shoutout for awesome service - so hard to find in the tire industry!
