With stock wheels, a 255 rear. If you get a 10in wheel the up to 315

I'm going to keep the stock wheels, I think the 255 is better aren't most 275's drag radials.

What....ummm no...I do have a pair of Hoosiers of the same size but I dunno. They work fine for me. I corner hard and spend a substantial amount of time exceeding the speed limit. I got pics of em before I put them on the car if you wanna see

There ya go. They hang over an 8 inch rim just slightly. On the car they eliminated 3rd gear spin, more of a chirp now and the car feels pretty grippy out back, alot less snaky

No these ones are sumis...I have a pair of hoosiers for the track. These sumis were cheap....they stick pretty good for cheapies tho and treadwear was 160 or something. Not very good but again, cheap

I wouldn't suggest going that wide on the front tho. The lateral forces while turning will give steering a spongy feel and not quite a positive or responsive turn. The rear however is fine as there are less of these forces at play. I have 245/45r17 on the front and then 275/40r17 on the back. I actually bought 4 of these originally but steering was sloppy and at 100 mph was noticeable and kind of scary. I got lucky that the tire shop I bought them from because I only put 20 miles on them took them back and put the 245s on the front for me. On a 9" rim it would have been fine but because the tire is wider than rim the tire itself will move up to 2 inches either way during hard cornering. The back because of the solid axle feels ok tho. Again this is just my experience. And if it matters nittos run a bit more narrow so if you run across a good deal on them there will be less lateral roll. Happy driving.and these sumis were 79 bucks. I got ripped off in another forum for a pair of nitto 555s so honestly I wish I had the money for better rubber but now that I have tried these out they aren't bad.

Thanks for the input I would deff leave the fronts at 245's the 275's would look weird IMO. I've heard good things about the nittos also. But for the price I'd get the sumi's and spend the money I save on performance mods lol.

Yup. Money is getting tougher to get and honestly these tires have surprised me. I read some really bad reviews but I havent had any problems and the price was right. Mine are htr40z and run great. If my budget would have allowed I woulda bought some bfgs but these are doing the trick. And the staggered look is pretty cool

Ive had the sumis and the nitto 555s. I would honestly pay the extra for the nittos. Much better grip, longer lasting, and more predictable sliding when you like to drift. Great tire for sure

Let me think.....put tires on so my kids aren't in danger while I have them in vehicle and can still afford to feed them or buy tires that will cost me 100 bucks a pair more and suggest they eat at the neighbors. Some of us do what we can with what we have. I would have loved to buy better tires however 1 income,a student wife and 2 kids dictate that I buy what I can afford. Thanks for your great thought tho

I bought my car 6 months ago with nitto 555s an lets just say I've put them through the wringer thinking I was going to need new tires soon but no such luck. Even on harsh Texas roads they are great tires. Admittedly I'm not having problems spinning in 3rd...yet. they do keep it planted an when i slip the clutch just right they'll hook surprisingly well putting me in my seat with a smile on my face. 245s all around an when they do go out I'm buying them again but maybe 275s. Stock 8.5 bullitts
