Terminator hood on a GT bumper?

what do i need to know?

I'll be purchasing an 03/04 Cobra hood for the Bullitt next week, and i was wondering if there are any issues with bolting this hood on with the stock GT bumper. I've heard that there might be some alignment issues and i may need to do some drilling.

has anyone ever done this, or heard of someone who has? I just want to make sure i have everything covered when it comes time to install.

TIA for any comments/help!

It works but there is a slight gap in the front due to the terminator hood being half an inch to an inch shorter then a standard hood.

have you ever heard of putting spacers in the bumper somehow to raise it up to fill that gap? someone over on Modular Powerhouse said something about it in one of the threads over there... ??

hmm i don't know about that. I have seen the hood on a bullitt before and i think it looks fine reguardless of the minor gaps.

Heck if you were doing hood, a terminator front bumper would also look awesome addition expescialy since the bullitt has simlilar rockers as the cobra.

that's true, and i have SERIOUSLY considered this, esp since the black paint they used on the Bullitts sucks you-know-whats so bad! lol (can you say lots of chip damage?) only thing holding me back is that i don't want it to seem TOO cobra-esque... another idea i had was to get a terminator rear bumper cover and have the lettering filled in. if i knew it was possible i'd take it a step further and have "BULLITT" lettering put in somehow... lol

I have seen a Highland Green Bullitt with a 03/04 cobra front bumper and hood. It looked SWEET!!, especially in that color, since they didn't make any cobra's in that color.

I personally don't know about the Terminator hood being shorter. I honestly don't think it would be, because the headlights are in the same location (not recessed). But, I have no experience with that, so don't quote me on that one.

I belive there is a difference and its due to the front bumper fascia and the different grill opening is what causes it, its longer on the verticle pieces that come up.

wow scott, I've seen double posts before but 6?

oh well I'm sure it'll be deleted without any evidence making me look stupid.

Edit: I was right about that, But the terminator hood would definitly be a perfect match style wise for the Bullitt. I can't speak for fitment issues, but be sure to post pics when its on there.
