Terminator bumper on GT hood.

This is the opposite of the other thread. I know the Cobra hood works on the gt bumper but not sure about the opposite.

I had a bit of a mishap and cracked my stock GT bumper. I really like the terminator bumper and was thinking of buying that one since i have to get a new one anyway.

Problem is i don't know if the hood would hit the terminator bumper.

exhibit A: terminator bumper and hood fitment.

exhibit B: GT hood and bumper

As you can see, the gt hood sloops down from the edges where the cobra is straight accross.

I was thinking that since the both bumpers mount in the same spots that maybe the gt hood would just have a overhang and go in front of the cobra posts and not have a problem...but its also possible the grill surrounds are higher and will be a problem closing the hood.

anyone know?

mmm i love it.

I got the prices for a new bumper and a normal replacment for my car is going to run $170 bucks where the cobra is $300. So i dunno what to do.. seems like a big difference in price but i think it would be worth it for how happy i will feel to have a modded car...

I wonder if we can find you a cheaper place to get the bumper. Also if you need to remove the grill it would look good if you put a pony in the front and left if open.

Actually ABC has some good prices. I know you wanted to do a saleen kit originally.

It's only $249 for a Urethane bumper.
