mine are crackling after 51,000 miles of rock. What is recommended by other Stangers??

Brands??
2-way; 3-way; 4-way??

it all depends on how much money you want to spend, and what you have currently. For rear deck speakers, go three way, you dont need anymore, and if you ever change the front, go for a good set of components speakers with an external crossover. If you are only running mild aftermarket parts(such as a 200-300 dollar head unit) then just about anything will do. Kenwood, sony xplod, alpine, the usual...

I'm not really into audio stuff....I will probably buy an MP3 player eventually but I just want some good clear sounding and thumping speakers. I won't be adding subs or anything.
