Occasional Hard to Start

Hello all, I am new to these forums. Here is my problem: on a cold start my car sometimes takes longer to starts. Normally it starts right up, but lately and occasionally it will take 5 - 8 seconds longer. I just replaced my spark plugs and added Accel Coils, I change my fuel filter regularly and at 100,000 miles I cleaned my injectors while doing an intake manifold change. (Old one cracked). More recently I just put in a new alternator because my old one had excessive ripple which ruined my battery. I bought a new alternator (not refurb) and got a new battery. I have been trying to monitor my fuel regulator pressure and it seems to hover steady at 40psi. I am hoping it is not a fuel pump issue. I was wondering if anyone else could give me possible causes. My car now has 150,000 miles on it. Here is my aftermarket list.

Car:2002 Mustang GT
4.6L SOHC

Borla ProXS Mufflers
Mac Longtube Headers (Straight Piped)
S&B Cold Air intake
Professional Products Throttle Body and Plenum (with Spacer)
Accel Ignition Coils
Ford Racing 3.73 Gears
B&M Short Throw
Luk Clutch
Tokico Struts and Shocks
UPR Tubular K-Member
UPR Tubular A-Arms
UPR Coilover kit
Dyno Tuned with Diablosport

Thanks for the help!

What is your battery rated for as far as crank amps and cold crank amp?

try turning your switch to the on postion for a few seconds before you try to start it ..let the fuel pressure catch up and let the electronics warm up a second .. just a thought ..

By the way I guess that was it. I feel pretty dumb for not thinking about that but it's become such a habit to turn the key directly to starting position....
