Need help with Autometers blue wire to clutch switch
I just installed an Autometer DPSS level 2 digital tack/shift light. on my 98GT. Everything’s good except if I want to use the launch feature at the same time as the shift light feature I need to connect the blue wire to my clutch....This is Autometers instructions...
"Blue Wire: Connect to positive terminal of Trans-Brake or Line Lock Solenoid. Alternatively, connect to the Brake Light Switch, Clutch Switch,
or a dedicated Remote Start Switch (normally open, momentary closed)."
The switch on my clutch only has power when the key is turned to START and not with the key in the RUN position. Am I missing something? Can anyone tell me How to wire this thing?

check the voltage again but push the clutch pedel down the switch lets the ECM know when you push in the clutch the switch should have two wires, one wire should have constant power with the key on the other when the pedel is mashed.
