2V to 4V conversion

Hey guy, Im lookin to pick up a 2V block soon, i was wondering if i could throw a 2001 cobra or FR500 top end on it? Like everything from heads to to intake. Can this be done or is there a difference between the blocks other that the casting material?

I've heard it was a no go over on either allfordmustangs.com, or sn95forums.com. Don't take my word for it, but as far as I know, it can't be done.

yes it can be done.

But why?

The aluminum block can take a good 600+hp so shouldn't really be a strength reason.
