1.) Is it worth the money for a throttle body?

I also have a 2005 V6 mustang and most mustangs (unless forced induction) show minimal gains with a throttle body. What performance improvement can I expect with the throttle body as far as HP, TRQ, and throttle response.

2.) Is it worth the money for a plenum?

I have not heard anything about these. What performance improvement can I expect with the plenum as far as HP, TRQ, and throttle response.

3.) Is there a big difference between the BBK and C&L intakes?

I have heard really good things about the C&L intakes for the 05+ mustangs, but really like the finish on the BBK intakes. Is there a big difference in the performance between these intakes? I do not plan on getting a tune at this point.

4.) Is it worth the money for an exhaust system?

I realize exhaust systems are both for sound, and performance. What performance improvement can I expect with an exhaust system as far as HP, TRQ, and throttle response. Any recomendations for type of system?

5.) Any other recommended mods?

From all of you who are experienced with 99-04 Stangs.

the 99-04 GTs don't see much gain from the throttle body but the upper intake plenum is good for 10 hp.

if you plan on doing light performance mods i would do Cold air intake, intake plenum and off road x or h pipe and cat back(catback really doesn't do anything power wise but will sound great)

and then 3.73 or 4.10 gears depending on how much hwy drivng you do.

Those would eb my first recommendations.

So if I get an intake and a plenum, will they both work with the stock throttle body?

What about a throttle body spacer?

I think the point Knight was trying to make was that the throttle body alone won't give big(if any) gains.

However, the combo of all 3 is good for some gains.

As far as C&L, Dragon, and Accufab ....the difference between those brands is probably 3hp 3tq, but the price differs quite a bit. Not sure about the BBK haven't heard anything as far as gains.

As mentioned above definately do a gear swap, 3.73 or 4.10s.
