Hey everyone, I'm new here and I finally got a car worth posting. I used to drive a 2003 V6 mustang and I traded that in and bought a 2003 Mach1 for myself as a birthday present. I've got some ideas for mods already but I'm open to any suggestions that anyone has. Thanks for your time.

Welcome Justin. I love the Mach 1 and really want one. But my wife won't let me have more than one car in the driveway, and I am not parting with my Cobra. Sweet car man.

Congrats on the Mach and welcome.I would say tires,exhaust,gear and tune.In that order.The tires alone will let you use first gear more effectively.Alot depends on if its a daily driver and if emissions are issues.Practice alone will get the car low 13's.

Thanks everybody. I plan on having a lot of fun modding my car. My dad drives a 02' corvette that we're going to take to the local track a few times this summer and run them heads up to see who wins.

Welcome. Very nice car you have there! Are you going to get some lowering springs and deep dish Mach 1 wheels in the back with wide tires for your first mods? They would just look awesome on your car.

CONGRATS!!!

I agree with above though: Tune, Gears, Short Shifter, Tires, Lower control arms will help and the Mustang must.. exhaust...!

My moms bf before he got his 440A roush, had a 03 with 3.73, 2.5" o/r Hpipe, 3.73 gearing - and that thing hauled hiney..Just a thought... have fun with it man!
