LOL, i averaged 9MPG once in my 92 icould that be why i need two new back tires?

My Saleen (turbo'd) gets about 9-10 as well. With boost on, that thing just stinks the gas down. :notnice:

My 98 GT has gotten as high as 26mpg on the highway, cruisin at 70. The car has an AODE, K&N, 255/50-17 rear tires, 3.27 gears, running 91 octane. Normal mixed driving is more like 18mpg, and I shift the slushbox manually (Transgo Stage 1 shift kit).

Normal driving on the Bullitt is 16/24.
On the Cobra it is 12/20. :notnice:
I could definately live with 20mpg. But 16 mpg...ouch :notnice:

Dan: that's city/highway mileage... without having fun.

Needless to say, my wallet has hired an attorney.

:bang: Ah well, ya gotta pay to play.

Sorry to say it, but if your wallet sues for highway robbery, he'll win.

Yeah, the weeks I get a little throttle happy I try not to look at the mileage too much.

During the summer I'm lucky if I get 15 miles/gallon.

You just have to believe me. I road tested my car before and after in all driving conditions. Gas reformulation for the summer driving,( can we say less mpg for more money?) will lower your mpg as well. Keep voting for the pukes who keep the tree hugging regulators in your back pockets.

My K&N will always be in my car, I can reuse it 10 + times as well. It cost a little less than 3 times a normal filter once you add the cleaning kit though. Over time it will be a saver.

I get 50 plus miles more on my tank of gas with the K&N, so I will laugh all the way to the bank for those of you non believers... :worship: :worship: :worship:

In fact using my calculator, I have 857 miles gained, extra, since the K&N was installed. So my K&N has almost paid for itself by giving me 2.4 tankfulls of go juice. B)
