Well at 3250 RPM is when the 4vs really start moving air. The 96-98 4vs have the IMRC's that open at 3250 because the air volume is much greater and the engine can make suffecient torque enough to run both intake valves at the same time. Your car just breathes well from the factory and makes better use of the air, even without IMRC's.

Below 3250, the cars are identical almost. Weird that mine is only using 1 intake valve below that point and making the same power. The IMRC's are closed below 3250 therefore cutting air from going to 8 of the 16 intake ports.
