drive gear for 98 gt auto

Im trying to find a 8 Tooth Drive Gear for a 98 mustang gt. Im doing a gear upgrade to 373 and was told i need a 21 tooth gear and an 8 tooth. I got the 21 from american muslce but cant find an 8. Its all pretty confusing to me. Any help would be great

Late model restoration I'm pretty sure has the 8 tooth drive gear

Is your car an auto or manual? We dont offer an 8 tooth drive gear. All I have is the 6 and 7 tooth gears. If you car is a manual, skip the drive gear change and go with this re-calibrator.

This will allow you to adjust for year tire size as well as any gear change you make.

its an auto. Im not sure what drive gear it has now. A 7 or 8..but i purchased a 21 tooth in hopes that it will be close. I heard to change drive gear you have to disassemble part of the trans..is this true..?
