Here is a link from the Fox section. I posted a "how to" for a member with pics on a clutch cable install and adjust very easy. It will be pretty much the same for your car has the fox, we are pretty much the same thru '04.

I had the same problem. They're going to tell you that you need a clutch quadrant and new cable. If they let you order parts UPR performance has the quadrant, cable, and firewall bushing for $79.99

IMHO stay away from the upr quad. there are much better quads than the upr one. again just my opinion, if you use the upr quad don't use the top hook, and tehy have one of the cheapest cable out there.

The stock oem clutch cable is the best ( if you can swing it) cable for our mustangs. Most after market cables tend to stretch and creak for some reason vs the stock cable. One of the best set ups out there that many guys I know run is a Ford cable, Maximum motors quad and Fiore fire wall adjuster ( probally one of the best on the market).

I run the maximum quad kit, love it and have had it for a few years now and it been flawless. I know a few people with the steeda set up and they aren't bad either. UPR

Run the maximum motorsports. I've had both, just replaced the steeda after it wore out. I had the steeda for about 3 years before it stretched. MM uses a OEM cable which will give you the longest life.
