lf you remove the cig. lighter you should be a should be able to find a couple of washers that are big enough to cover the hole and still fit the switch. I have used fender washers on some. A bit of paint and it is done.

There are kits that allow you to install a push button start in numerous models of cars using the cig. lighter location. Might see if you can find the right type switch because the start button is momentary on only and you most likely need a push on...push off.

Ok....is there enough room in the back to fit the switch? I would just take your switch and a couple of fender washers and sandwich the hole of the cig lighter between the washers. Pretty easy to do plus a touch of paint.
