Last week when I was in Detroit to attend the Woodward Dream Cruise I also attended Ford's dream cruise kick-off activities at the world headquarters building. It involved a display of several hundred Mustangs, presentations by Team Mustang individuals in the world headquarters auditorium, and finally a caravan of the Mustangs to Mustang Alley in Ferndale. Anyway, after all of the Mustangs had lined up to start the caravan, I positioned myself where they all had to make a left hand turn (still on Ford property). At this left hand turn point, there was a Ford security vehicle and a Dearborn Police car directing traffic. Shortly thereafter, a vehicle approached at my back on a road perpindicular to where all the Mustangs were lined up to make their left hand turn. It was a 2004 Mystic Chrome Cobra convertible. The car approached slowly and appeared to be in no hurry. Lo and behold it was Bill Ford and I now surmise that he had probably just exited from the executive garage. Anyway, it took a couple of minutes before the police and Ford security became aware of his presence. When they did, traffic was stopped so he could make a left at the intersection. His route took him along the long line of Mustangs but going in the opposite direction.

 

You can't argue with taste like that.

yeah i would like to see a picture of him driving along beside the rest of the stangs... That is nice to know that he is driving a STANG!.... I figured he would be riding around in a GT40....but i am sure he has one of thos too

 

Now if someone spotted him driving around in a 300C, that would be huge

 

thats funny! but yeah one of the first three GT's were for him, and you knowits probably in a garage somewhere sitting. they probably gave him the mystic cobra...............ahhh the perks of running Ford

 

"they" = "him". The GT is his car but I'm so glad he loves the Mustang.
