Question Best Quality K-Member ???

One for a co-worker in the shop who is about to pull his motor ...

He is contemplating swapping to a tubular K-member mostly for the alleged increase in gas mileage and making it easier to work on the car.

Anybody got any idea who makes the best QUALITY K-member for the 2001 GT?

Anybody that has changed theirs out please let me know what manufacturer you used?

What your opinion of it is?

What was your reason for the swap?

I'll pass it all along.

THANKS ~ !!!

i have D&D Motorsports k-member kit, coil over kit on my 98 cobra. main reason it was added was for longtube header clearance. it definitley took alot of weight off of the front and handling is great with the coilover kit adjustable shocks and caster camber plates. i have also heard alot of good things about griggs racings kit

Thanks for the reply and good information. I'll forward this to him and I'm sure it will help him out. I think he even mentioned Griggs but I can't remember if it was postive or negative.

I think what he is more focused on is weight savings and better handling.

THANKS AGAIN ~ !!!

Maximum Motorsports K-members - sacrifices some weight savings for strength and longevity, but better for street oriented cars.

I used UPR k-members in my 87' (don't know how different the SN95 would be) it saved a lot of weight (80+lbs?) and was actualy much easier to install than I imagined
