Advancing the timing 4 degrees?

Has any one advanced the timing on there car?? How does the car run and how much inprovement???

Increasing timing creates more power. It usually helps the car run better. In this case you may also want to consider running a higher octane fuel as well to prevent pinging.

u cant increase timing without a chip, computer will put it back

Steeda's not the only company to ever make a timing adjuster. But yeah adjusting the timing will give you more power but will also require you to use a higher octane gas which these days stinkS!

Am I missing something here? His profile says he has a 95 cobra. Steeda timing adjusters are for 4.6's are they not? Why can he not just adjust timing at the distributor like every other 5.0?
