2001 s/c bullett
If your looking for mpg, 3.27, but 3.73 will be a good balance in between. You could also go 3.55 which would give you better mpg them the 3.73 but perform better then the 3.27s.
Funny thanks, I get many different views. On gearing. When I got the car it had 4:10 fun but from light to light runs.1st is no use, tires spin. Fun but wanting to end in 1st place. I have read that 4:10 with s/c is great for the drag strip but city street playing hard. I agree I need about to lights. Mostly for the 3 rd gear pull....full boost full throttle.
If you are looking for total gas mileage then the 3.27s. IMO I would do like 1999Pony stated and go with 3.55s, you'll get a better feel over the 3.27s better lower cruising rpms than the 3.73s ( it isn't huge but enough) it is a good middle gear.
My brother has a SC Bullitt, his has 3.55s because he has a 2003 cobra IRS in it. Its a fun car and gets decent mpgs. You will probably get about 2mpg better with 3.55 than 4.10.
If you are interested in an IRS with 3.55 there are a lot of terminator owners that would prob go for a swap for your solid and 4.10. Best of all you can do it free of charge, just have to take the time to get together and do the swap.
