What do I need to plug this hole?

I will try to be as specific as possible (I apologize for my lack of car knowledge).

I purchased a used 2000 Ford Mustang (Automatic 3.8L) as my daily driver and I’m trying to fix any issues it may have.

I noticed a hole under the hood that leads to the driver side dash. I can see the wiring to the fuse panel etc. When it rains, water can end up on the floor near the gas/brake pedals.

My question, is there something missing or a certain part number I need to get to be able to plug the hole? Thank you for your time and assistance in advance.

I am not sure what that hole is for, or if there is supposed to be a cover (looks like there is) or what is the part number for that cover . . . you might be able to find it in an on-line parts lookup tool such as tascaparts.com

but if all else fails: Flex Tape!
(just be aware you'll never be able to get it off, that stuff sticks like crazy)

I would try this. Put some black gasket sealer around the hole before pushing this through. Just for extra security.
