Stalling in neutral ?!?
#1
i have a 99 mustang stick and when i roll down a hill at speeds of like 35-40mph it stalls out on me. the power steering goes and the battery light usually comes on. when i get to the bottom of the hill i crank the car right over with no problem. it doesnt stall at any other time either. i dunno if the K&N cold air intake i just put in has anything to do with it. if anyone has any suggestions please help me!!

well i had that same problem with a ford ranger i used to have, it did exactly the same only when the serpentine belt got wet, and also when u start it up u could hear the belt slipping and stuff, but if it doesnt do any of that on ur stang it may be the air intake that is obstructed someway, did u remove the plastic bag form the K&N???, or all the stuff that goes connected to intake is it properly placed???
