Something fishy in the RPM's

Hell guys and gals...

I am having something funny happening with my 94 Stang. Not sure what it is and did not get much direction from the mechanic that looked at it. 1.) it does not do it when I take it to him, 2.) from my description he does not know how to put his finger on it other than to say it may be a transmission fluid leak. When I drive my car sometime it revs into high RPM's and then jerks and/or hesitates while I am driving. This is pretty frustrating. Any ideas? Thanks!!!

Could be a small vacuum leak somewhere as well.
