Hey everyone! i really want to get a procharger for my 01 v6 auto really soon. I was just wondering about how much will it cost me for everything, including the other stuff needed besides the procharger like the upgraded fuel pump, injectors, chip,etc... is there anyone here that has a 11 psi kit on there v6? if so, how much horsepower are you guys making? Does anyone know if a good place where i could get a good deal on a procharger? thanks.

 

Procharger kits come complete. www.trixtersracing.com is a good place to buy them, i might be able to get u a discount. the basic kit will prolly run you around 3400 (thats msrp) the discount might bring it down a few hundred, i will check into it.

 

So if i get the kit from there its going to come with all the other upgraded stuff i needed to buy seperately? And about how much will the installation cost for a procharger?..last question. So about how much do you think u can get me the 11psi procharger kit? Thanks a lot!

btw- i dont think their is a 11psi kit, just 9 and 12, and i think 12 is too much for the motor, i will find out. also, where are u located?

 

the procharger kit from anywhere should come with the intercooler, all piping nessecary, the compresssor, etc. I never heard of a procharger coming without needed parts ?? what parts is it that u would have to buy? where did u hear this? I emailed him on pricing, he shall respond soon. my uncle procharged his truck and he didnt need injectors or a chip or any of that. i think it comes with a fuel pump

 

For what it is worth, I wouldnt s/c a car without upgrading injectors, fuel pump, and having a custom chip burnt.

 

If i do get a supercharger, i will upgrade injectors, fuel pump and i will get a dyno tune.

 

I have a 9PSI procharger kit in the mail for my 2000 v6. From where I bought it there were a few upgrades...I upgraded the injectors to 42lbs up from I think 30, plus upgraded the chip from diablo to SCT. I was told by not only the company that sold it to me but Steeda here in Canada NOT to get 11psi as the bottom end of the car should be upgraded at that amount of boost. Also, in case it doesnt come with it when you buy it, I highly recommend getting an intercooler for obvious reasons...more power and more reliability/safety. I read on a website the 11 PSI tuner kit makes 345HP on an otherwise stock car...Im not sure but if I remember correctly the tuner kit for the 11psi kit only does not come with all the upgrades, they must be purchased. I'd be very happy if my 9PSI with every possible highest upgrade for the internals plus the exhaust I have goin on will make 345...but I really have no clue. I'll post about it when it happens.
