New V6 Owner! Need Mod Advice!

I have recently purchased a 2002 3.8L V6 Mustang convertible,
I am about to purchase some cosmetic mods and restoration pieces (Chin Spoiler, Smoked Headlights, and Replacement Sun Visors).
I am contemplating buying a couple performance mods and would like some advice.
I am thinking about buying a Cold Air intake, upgraded spark plugs, and possible a new coil pack.
Any recommendations on the Cold Air Intake?
Is the new coil pack worth buying?
Anything Else I should consider purchasing/upgrading?

Those three aren't 'performance' mods, they're just a tune up. They need more parts/stuff where they help THOSE work to make performance mods. That'd be bigger throttle body, bigger exhaust, at the very least. Maybe an intake upgrade. Maybe headers. Perhaps a turbo kit, or a supercharger kit. Tune, definitely, or even a whole upgraded computer... I'd probably stay away from the nitrous... Better tires, maybe some wheels... Definitely lowering springs, and ALL the suspension upgrades thereto... (note: I'd focus on the handling before I did any engine work, myself, I like a car that *handles*.) At some point, probably looking at an upgraded clutch, shifter, or even a transmission, possibly a driveshaft and rear axle... Brakes! Gotta upgrade those... which mean bigger rims to handle them 4-6 pot Brembos... Oh, and at some point a higher pressure/flowing fuel system to handle the new fuel needs. And a fatter wallet for all the extra gas you'll be buying as you full pull send it, because that car became hilariously awesome, and 'danger' is now it's middle name.

Man, I love living vicariously through other's cars...

But just those three... I'd probably just spend the money elsewhere, or just not spend it, if I'm not putting more expensive stuff on the car for HP/TQ. Wait until I was gonna do naughtier things to it, and put those on when called for. Again, I'm going for suspension, steering, ensuring brakes are good, and other general 'get the car up to snuff' on all the things(tm) that make it a good car first... THEN get 'stupid' with the gofast products. Not that there's anything wrong with it now, but that's my first priority. Reliable and drivable, then funstuff.

That CAI will make a nice moan for the intake though. Just make sure you don't need a tune for it.

For what my lil' brain has to say about it. I'm sure I'm sorta wrong somewhere... meh. Hope that helps. Welcome aboard!
