It sounds like you might have a loose connection between you head unit and antenna. It dosen't sound like it would be the head unit do to the fact it works while your not moving. I would definitely check the connections or it would be your antenna. Is it doing anything else or just the cutting in and out?

sounds like wiring problem, my brother in law installed a kenwood HU himself, and the radio signal fades when he's driving, as for the wiring harness, you might not need it since you already have an aftermarket HU but I'm not 100% on that,

Its nor the station it self because it does it with other ones
As far as the wiring harness goes I just cut out the harness and soldered it to my speakers, but unluckily my door speakers don't work and that ain't the problem, if you have Mach 460 it sucks lol. Have to replace my 460 and run new wires to the front and rear.
Im just gonna replace the HU because this thing is just crappy HU and doesnt sound that great anyway and i will be replacing the speakers too its a convertible so the speakers on the rear side panel have covers but the cover on one side is broke and the other one is missing so where can i find those speaker covers
