Electric vs Tropic green

The question is in the post title... how can I tell the difference between Electric Green and Tropic green on a 2002 Mustang V6? Also... is appx 10k a good price? AT, power everything, but not upgraded sound system. Has about 37k on it...

i am almost certain that it is a tropic green mustang because electric green was only offered for the 1999 model year. basically electric green is a brighter green. 10 thousand sounds decent to me although im sure you could find a better deal if you wanted to wait and spend more time looking. v6 stangs are going really cheap right now.

Actually, there were 636 Electric Green '02s and 3445 Tropic Greens, according to Brad's timeline. Tropic Green is a lot darker. Almost looks black in my avatar, but that picture was taken with a crappy camera phone.

I have a 2001 Tropic Green Mustang.. (it used to be called Amazon Green in 2000)
It's not "that" dark. It has a "blue" tint to it. Electric Green is BRIGHT. And Satin Green is very dark.. almost a muted black color.

ha! its like looking at pictures of my mustang... only with a black stripe instead of white. nice car. great mind think alike.
also- electric green is horrible. see one around my house all the time and thank god they only made 800 of that terrible of-the-times color.

Nice color choice for you too.I also have the black V6 pride stripes.. not white.. and the bumper inserts are reflective black.

That picture there is definitely not the tropic green. I had a 2001 Electric green V6. But the colors I think are the hardest to distinguish are the electric green and the other green they had I believe in 99, was the jalepeno green which looks alot like electric.
