Where are all the Kenny Brown parts?
Where are all the Kenny Brown parts?
I have been up in a loop about doing a Fox body Mustang as an alternative to a 240SX as a first venture into making a project car and I have read some good articles about the Kenny Brown parts, including an IRS swap, Front K Member replacement and A-Arms. But now I went to the web site and nothing is to be found. What gives?
Anyone have suggestions for good Fox body parts?

These would be a good place to start.

What kind of use will this project car see? When I read "240SX" I thought "drifting". If that's the case, there is a site for Mustangs being modified and used for drifting. Otherwise, how about drop a Ford OHV V8 in a 240 for fun (it's been done).
It is unfortunate that Kenny Brown is no longer selling the parts I wanted for the Fox.
My idea as for now is a Fox Notch:
- 5.0L Coyote
- T-56
- Cobra IRS
- New Chassis and Frame support
- American Racing Cobra style wheels (If they fit and look good)
- SSBC Brakes
- I'd like to say EPAS but total, it's more than the engine and IRS combined so I just think that may be a no go. Not sure, just need an insane deal. So steering is really up in the air.
- Koni Adj Shocks
- Not sure about color, new 5.0L badges that are also turn indicators (See BMW Z4).
- Interior is to be re done completely with ambient night lighting, new badges, stereo, guages, some alacantara peices, better bolstered seats.
The 240SX was kind of a project in my head that seemed to be interesting because it already had a decent chassis, easy to find.
The other reason was to do a mix between the conventional 240SX modifications with a hot rod influence. Created to kind of terrorize the usual ricing out of a 240.
But I thought the Fox would be just as much fun.
You could remove the airbag steering wheel if the car is so equipped, but you would run into problems if your motor vehicle inspection station/local law enforcement is strict about that. "Best solution" would be to use a pre-airbag model year and those steering columns offer tilt adjustment, unlike the airbag-equipped ones.
The Mustang drifting crowd has some solutions to the poor max tire angle of the Fox/SN95 - that could help tighten up this car's horrendous turning circle (U turns).

Hey thanks for the offer! Unfortunately I am just tooling around with the idea. I am pretty sold on the new 5 litre anyway. I don't even have the car, just prepping ideas and trying to get some information straight before I do dive into it.
