I bought a 1988 MUSTANG GT Convertible it's in perfect condition 50K miles I need new seats does anyone know where I could get them and is there any racing seats that fit in the back?

 

Anything from another fox or SN95 should work. Cobra seats would be sweet if you can find them! Check ebay and craigslist. Lots of vendors also sell corbeau racing seats. Not sure if they have anything for the back though. Lots of options out there.

Like Blue Notch stated from '79 to '04 will bolt on front seat wise. The rears from the early four eyes( vs aero years) and the sn95 are slightly different. some have added '05 fronts but mods are needed to the seat tracks. I have flo-fit seats but there are plenty of aftermarket seats for the fox from sources like given above and summit, jegs, brothers racing, etc.

 

So which ones will fit in the back

 

I have only really seen the full sn95 swap done on the hatchback fox. it had some gaps and mods where needed for the fold down ( sn95s don't have this). Like I stated the front are a direct bolt in. do your home work on the rears, they made the seats to fit around the different interior panels so this would be the tricky part.

 

these are what i have.they are 155$ a piece on summit racing for the front. what do you mean race back seats?like a better design. just an idea if you know anyone that is good at sewing.my dad did my rear seats.we took off the factory cover and used it for a size template.them picked out some materials that were close to the fronts i bought.then went to town.it really isnt bad if you know how to sew.

 

My camaro has bucket seats in the rear and I'd like the same style for my fox but there's only enough room for about 15" in depth

 

One of my friends had a fox and we were able to put the newer style seats in it. It looked really nice. Had the running pony on top of it also.
