Tranny issues
The car has been off the road all winter, yet it was doing this before i took it off the road. Seems that the tranny likes to slip as of recently. It gets better as the car warms up, but when i put it on the road this summer, im not planning to warm up the car 15 minutes so i can use it to go to work. I did flush the fluid and replace the filter and fluid a few years back because it was starting to slip, but nothing ever really helped. And i heard the track record about the AOD Fox trannies werent good anyways. To tell you the truth, i plan on converting to a 5 speed (my honda daily driver has one for gods sakes!) but im VERY short on money since i took some time off of work to student teach so its going to have to wait (Priorities). What can i do besides another flush that is relatively cheap to fix this problem? Or do i have no other choice....
I found this stuff...maybe if your only gonna truff tranny latter anyways,it might give you some extra life to it?
