Tires?!?!?

Is anyone else rollin' the 15" 10 hole, stock 1990 rims... ? I have a picture of the car in my album.. The red LX.. I want some wider tires.. What do you recommend.. It has 215/65/15

Would 225/60/15 - 235/60/15 work?

Afraid of rubbing..

i run 225/60R15s on my stock 10 holes- but good luck with finding any variety of tires nowadays. That should be the stock tire size.

I've already considered new wheels for the LX, in the event tire sellers may stop carrying that size tire altogether. Tirerack had several 225/60R15 available about 2 yrs back, but now they are down to about 4. Even on ebay, there isn't too big of a selection.

Try discounttiredirect, I bought my 15" tires there. I paid ~$250 shipped for 4 tires, I am however running a lower profile tire than what you are looking for.

yep find your best price and your local discount tire will match it. I really will not go any where else for tires.

I have 15x7 welds and Im running a 255/60 on the rear, and a 215/65 in front. I have no problems with rubbing, fits under the fender real well.

Yeah tires were a pain to find! I ended up going with BFgoodwrench. 235/60/15.. They fit good... But now it looks like an off-road stang! Lol so now I need springs.. Thinking 2".. Curious if it will rub.. I could get 1.5" or 1.25"..?

Hhmm..

Before I got the tires I have now, I ran 2 full sets of the BFG Radial T/As. I like the look of the RWLs myself. Seeing as there isnt much of a chioice with these wheels, I will just tell you to be careful in wet weather on those. Besides that, I'm glad you were still able to find a set for those 15s.
