RWHP prediction for the fun of it

The Vortech should help....with only 7lbs of boost your numbers are going to be low....to make the big numbers you will need to be at 12-15lbs of boost and the S trim should do that for you.
I recommend you upgrade to the 10 rib pulley/belt kit......been there, done that...and you're gonna need it or you will have belt slipping problems.
I would not have gone with the Victor intake....the Holley Systemax would have been a much better blower friendly intake. The Victor is better than what you had though as evidenced by the HP increase.

Update.
Vortech S-Trim with 3.33 pulley made 415 RWHP. Big difference in the torque and HP curve before it was all the way to 6200 RPM to make 376 RWHP now it makes 415 RWHP at 5300 RPM. I may run this for a while and then pulley up.

Update.
Went to the 1/8 track this weekend. The surface seemed slick after rain on Saturday, so I was slow out of the hole with lots of wheel spin. The car ran 7.92 @ 93.5 MPH.

update.
this 347 was moved to a C4 automatic car.
The cam timing was advanced 6 degrees
The vortech was changed to a Paxton NOVI 2000
The result is >450 RWHP.
In the first try at the strip it pulled the front tires a foot off the ground.
Unfortunately the torque converter was not enough for the torque.
New torque converter has been ordered.

I see you have an 86, that is what I have put the 347 in is an 86 hatch back with C4. Based on the 1/8 time and speed on the 2 runs I made the car should be easy into the 10s and maybe high 9s.

Not much time for racing lately but, the 86 GT ran an easy 6.80 @ 105mph in the 1/8th. It held the front tires off the ground for the first 100 ft or so. Still trying to get things dialed in, should go 6.50.

On the front I have tubular K-member, tubular control arms, and coil overs with Drag shocks. On the rear, Lakewood uppers, lowers, and traction bars, with drag shocks. I am running 3.55 rear gear with 10.5/26 slicks.

Awesome, Do you have any pictures of the 86? I love that style. You're car sounds awesome. What kind of suspension components are you running for that car to hook up like that?

I took a video Friday night, the file might be too big to post unless someone wants to host it.

Update. SC belt stayed on. Car ran 6.60 @ 105 in 1/8, 60ft time was 1.42 with the wheels 1 1/2 foot off the ground. More than expected slippage of converter on top end had to let off before end of 1/4 coasted to 10.44 @ 118
