I Found a CAI...

For 87-90 2.3L mustangs, says its good for 5-10 hp.

Honestly, from experience with a 2.3 myself I wouldn't expect more than 3-5 hp tops. But for $50, it's better than nothing at all. There's not a whole heck of a lot to do with the 2.3's unfortunately so every little bit helps.

Try it and let us know it works.

Best bet is to plan a V8 swap, 302, 351W, 390, 460. oh my i make my self so happy sometime, you might be keeping the 2.3 for gas mileage but it you want more power you can easily swap an 8 in it. Lots of choices, lots of mod. or you can be a ricer and swap a RB25 skyline motor in it, jgycustoms.com

Or he could do a swap to the 2.3 Turbo from a mid to late 80's T-Bird Turbo Coupe. Finding an SVO Mustang is going to be a bit more difficult.

IIRC, rangerpowersports.com (?) is a pretty neat source of info on Ford's turbo 2.3L engines.

I dont think I could do a turbo swap, I cant fabricate parts or bend exaust tubing.
