ok...i managed to save up about 4600 dollars in the past month or so...and my 5.0 is basically stock (3.73 gears, flowmaster mufflers)...ive been putting my money away..and then i decided i wanted to go with a DSS racing Pro bullet block, and some type of forced induction to push towards my goal of 550-600 rwhp.
I weighed my options, and looked at the turbo kit for my car..the CarTech kit,on a BONE STOCK 90 5.0,made 397 rwhp, and 490 tq on only 7psi..which is crazy...i was going to order that kit next week..but then my friend told me has a Procharger kit (was originally for a civic, but he told me all i have to do is get a mustang bracket for it) for 2500$....
i had a turbocharged integra before i bought this car,and loved it..so naturally im biased against blowers..but if i got the procharger,i think i could reach my goal, plus have money left over,to start on getting the DSS pro bullet block.
now i know "only i can decide" what i should do..but what would you guys do in your situation?

You better check and see how much the mustang barckets are for that procharger, as well as make sure it spins the right direction for a mustang setup. If you cant find those brackets used anywahere, then I have seen bracket kits that cost as much as $800 or so. Plus a procharger made for a civic isnt gonna push near as much boost on a 5.0. Personally I would stick with the turbo kit.
I agree with joker, you're friend might not be aware of any other conflictions trying to put a civic SC on a mustang (I don't know what else you need either) and he might just be trying to get rid of his SC. For that CarTech kit to make that much power on a stock block is ungodly- how much does it cost?

well..ive decided to go with a 347 bottom end...more displacement..it should be easier to make my goal of 500rwhp.
i also got some mods today :
MAC cold air induction kit
BBK 70mm throttle body
BBK EGR plate
MAC headers
MAC Prochamber
MAC mufflers w/turn down exhaust tips
GT40 upper and lower Intakes
BBK aluminum underdrive pullies
my next step is to order my forged 347 short block (pistons, rods, crank)
after that..i will probably get my igintion setup (MSD 6AL),and start on my fuel setup.

i'd use the turbo, the procharger wont produce 550rwhp unless on race fuel or a different bottom end.

I don't understand your statement. the bottom end of a motor won't change the power output of different power adders
