I would strip the hatch and use it for the notch. Unless the hatch will be an all out race car, it's not worth the time and effort.

The plan was to just make one nice street car out of the two. I've never swapped a whole front clip before (everything).

If anyone knows where I can get a donor car with a good complete front let me know. If I can find a complete dog house I'll do both cars!!!

Question

You say the front is missing from the firewall forward. Do you then mean the front frame is missing also ?

It pretty much needs to be cut at the A pillars and replaced.

You really really don't want to chop a car and weld it together in front of the a pillars
