No, once a car has been labeled as salvage it stays that way...the documentation does not change.

What documentation?
in NY, i no for a fact they give it a clear title once fixed and inspected, u cant get a car inspected unless it has a clear title

I don't care what you think it is called but the vehicle history will STILL show a salvage and repair....it's something called "federal law"....go find one of those "clear" title cars and run a carfax or DMV search...it will show the history unless it was hidden from the proper channels...in which case the title would never have been "salvage" labeled to begin with.

yes, it will show a salvage in the history, i thought u were sayin a salvage title stays a salvage title no matter what. title hidden??? Huh? Thanks for the explanation, cleared it up, now i no what u were saying, u r correct.
