hhow do you find the build date of the car. I can find the month and year on the door sticker(9/89 ! one of the first '90s!), but i want to know the actual date

Sorry, vehicle is told old for me to pull it up on Ford's OASIS system. It does however show an open recall for an ignition switch.

I've often wondered this myself. Shouldn't the build date be encoded somewhere on the data plate, or did Ford not do this? My Mopar has a day/month/hour stamp on the door sticker, but if there is any such thing on my Mustang, I haven't found it. I have seen a couple stampings on the fenders that would indicate June 30, 1980, though.
