So I have a couple foxes. A 93 vert and a 89 hatch. Every so often when start it the 93 will make a alarm clock beeping/ buzzing racket. The 89 has never done this. Anyone know what causing this?

 

I think its the air bag module. Can any one confirm?

 

Mine does it also '93.. It's the airbag warning, if your light is out in your cluster you will get the buzzer and its relentless.. I just deal with the light!!!

 

Also u can check the two wire harnesses going to the module, make sure they have a good connection, mine started again after i hit a big hard bump... it's in a bad spot behind the heater/ac controls, it's like a green/blue color box with two plugs, there's also ur key/ door open chime under there also so don't confuse the two

Yes, upon startup the airbag warning chime will beep loudly 5 times, 5 times, 5 times. Most of the time my airbag light is on but this beep happens when the airbag light is malfuntioning.
