Bad vibration in engine at 1200-2000 rpm

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum, so thanks in advance for all your input.

I'm running a 1990 5L, e303 cam, rebuilt t5 (1000 miles on it) , McLeod super street pro clutch (1000 miles) , new flywheel with clutch, neoprene motor and tranny mounts (1000 miles).

My car usualy stalls when I first start it, when I give it gas to keep it going, it starts searching for the idle, 500-1000 rpms, once I start driving I'm now getting a bad vibration at the 1200-2000 rpm range , I don't actually need to be moving to feel it, clutch in, clutch out, it doesn't matter except that I feel it more with the clutch out. I am aware that I have one fouled up plug, need help on that too please!

Thanks in advance.!!

Geeze where to start.. Harmonic balancer could be bad if its original.. But the plug being fouled might just be it. Dead cylinder, bad injector...????

I know, it's a mess...

For starters, can your idle setting be enough to cause a bad vibe, meaning, I turned up the idle(from 600 to 750ish ) and set TPS to .99v and the vibration has gotten worse (or its just getting worse regardless)?

I'd like to add that the timing is around 16 and I get about 250km to a tank of premium (only) or like 150 miles( I think, I'm in Canada ). Regular fuel gives me less miles per gallon then premium.

I don't have a code reader (yet) and I'm not sure of another way to check.

The plugs are all new ford motorcraft

Is the vibration there when your not moving? Can you get it to a Auto Zone or Checker close to you? If its a simple mis fire that would be great but if its not vibrating when your sitting still the that might be a u joint for sure... That fouled plug is where I would start..

I'll try to get to an autozone to check, and the vibe is there as soon as I start the car, not moving. I just feel it more when the clutch is out.

I managed to pull these codes today..

KOEO
21- ECT out of self test range 0.3 to 3.7 volts

24- ACT sensor out of self test range 0.3 to 3.7 volts

67- neutral safety circut failure (I was in gear though so it's probably not a problem)

I know absolutely nothing about ECT and ACT, any help would be greatly appreciated !

Ok thats just the coolant censor but man I bet your flywheel might be the issue... The engine is not rebuilt? Just the cam?

The engine is not rebuilt, the crank shaft was redone at same time as tranny, with all new crank bearings, but that's all, no under drive pullys (thier still sitting in my garage waiting to be put on but I never have yet).
Should I do a KOER test the same way I did the KOEO test? (by jumping that little plug to the neg on the battery)?

Not sure on the test but starting to sound like flywheel. Is the shorter shaking real bad?

The only two things it can really be is flywheel or hormonic balancer. Check to make sure the rubber is good on the balancer. If it is then it almoast has to be flywheel. If it was an engine miss you would know by the exhaust note.

Well, the rubber on the balancer sticks out about 2/16 of an inch on both sides, and does have a slight wobble, but it's like 1/16 of an inch, if this helps. (thanks again)

If you can get your hands on it, see if you can move it. If you can move it by hand its deffinately bad.

I'll try that in a bit, and I'll repost.

Update....
The balancer seems solid as a rock, I can't shake it even the slightest.

should I try with the car running?

(LoL just kidding)

Update #2...

Car Is in the shop, will report back.

Update #3...
it was a bad pressure plate, McLeod warrantied the whole clutch for another new one, car runs nice and smooth now
