Air bag light

I've got a 93 LX 5.0 and while driving the air bag light blinks 5 times then pauses and blinks 2 more times. Then after a few moments repeats this cycle continuously.

The car has no mods and is stock except for cat back Flowmasters.

No other lights come on. CEL never comes on.

What does this mean?

Airbag code 52 common with older fords. Connection error. Water entering the electrical system or changing of the battery. Try a hard reset by disconnecting the battery to clear the code and see if it returns.
