My 87 5.0 is cranking but won't turn over, I figured it might be the spark plugs but I fed it some starting fluid and it's started for a few sec. And I'm not sure if it's the fuel pump or filter because I replaced them about a year ago. Your help would be much appreciated.

 

That's what my 91 is doing right now except my fuel pump never shuts off when the electric is on.... I've replaced the pump twice and fuel filter next thing in trying is the fuel pressure regulator
