Hey, I was just wondering if there was ever a white Mach 1 Cobra Jet made that had the red striping?

 

 

OK, Call me stupid for asking (or for any reason B) ), but could that be a GT (Not sure if GT option was available in 1969, I think it was.), because I thought the "Mach 1" words are in the body of the stripe(by the front fender) in 1969.

(However, I see the "WhiteMach" in the [img] wording.) Duh!

 

Hey thanks for the pic, I new that wimbledon white was an option in '69 for the mustangs, but wasn't sure about the Mach 1's, and their striping.

Yes, there was a GT model in '69, it was discontinued in 1970

 

 

I see the "Mach 1" in the stripe. (Plus the black hood!) I'm just blind sometimes! B)

Slick, oh, and by the way, the reason for this topic is that I'm in the process of making a model of a 1969 Mach 1 Cobra Jet, and I have only the red striping, and because I didn't want paint it black, I was lookng for another colour.

 

I know, I had to do a double take on that one too. I couldn't see the "mach 1" in the stripe, but everything else looked mach, so I went with it.

 

While surfin the web for 69 Mach 1 stuff, I found this post from about 6 yrs ago. You pointed out that your dad was behind the car. I was pleased to find a pic of a car like mine. Well actually that IS my car. (the antenna ball gave it away) I guess it was taken at the Mustang 40th in Nashville. That is an awesome pic. Do you happen to have any more of it?
