Turn signal problem

The turn signals have gone out on my 1969 Sportsroof (351W). All bulbs appear OK, the flasher has been replaced and the emergency flashers work fine.

If it's a fuse, would the emergency flasher still work?

Any other ideas?

my guess and its only a guess but I would think the problem is in the steering colum. Try replacing the bulbs and check all the sockets and wireing to them. Good luck
I think the flashers and the turn signals are on two different fuses

Fuse is OK. Bulbs look OK, too.

Where in the steering column should I start looking?

Really sounding like a ground issue to me. I'd double check all wiring and grounds. Take a test light and work your way back from each bulb untill you find where the problem is.

Guessing it's going to be in the tail lights - had an issue simular not too long ago.

Start simple and check everything before you go diving into a steering colum or a fuse box chasing an electrical gremlin.

just my 2c, good luck.

It's fixed.

I'd replaced the flasher but didn't realize there was another, more hidden, flasher behind the radio. That was the culprit. The things I learn with this car...
