Well, that sounds good. Can you give us a pic of the engine when you get a chance?

I hope I will. Here's what I just bought for it. Points, Carb Condenser (not sure what that is), rotor, dist cap, spark plugs, ignition wires, carb float, carb tune-up kit, & a fuel pump. That receipt says condenser, pretty sure he said that goes to the carb?

The motor is pretty dirty, but Bobby says it looks OK.

Condenser goes to the points.

Got any pictures? I'd like to see how it's coming along.

I took my 65 in to get the AC fixed, and a OEM steering wheel put on. It's always something! lol

No pics yet. Sorry, I got some kind of the flu I'm getting over. It should be out pretty quick. Staying close to home.

It hasn't really moved. Bobby has been super busy with other people's cars they need. This is just a project, so no real rush.

You will be amazed at the difference in the drive with new plugs, wires & points. I had a buddy do mine this summer and WOW what a difference. it was faster and just ran sooo much better.

Well, the center button was coming off, and the owner at the shop said that the Grant wheels damage the turn signal wire harness over time. So, I'm going back to the OEM wheel.

Yeah grants aren't good steering wheels at all. I'm going with Lecarra or Momo when I buy mine.

Well, he said they have the same issues with the other brands. But they are really a OEM kind of place....

I've heard several complaints on Grants. I am one of those that dislikes them also, had problems with their products.

Yes, well it will be nice to have the wheel look the way it should. I did like the "feel" of the Grant wheel since it was a smaller diameter then the OEM wheel. I tended to overcontrol with the OEM wheel.

I hope you better soon. I also had a cold for a while. I think I picked it up when I was driving my Mustang when the heater wasn't working.

I've got that fixed at least. They erbuilt my heater box, put in a new disfuser, and a new heater core since the old one was starting to leak.

This week they're working on the AC and the steering wheel.

OEM wheel is too big for me. My legs are pushed into it and I can't use the style driving I like. I need a smaller wheel cause my grandfather showed me how they drove in evasive driving courses. It really works so I try and use it when I can. Plus my 67 will be raced and I need to be able to turn quick.

Hmm, I'm running out of things I think. I'm glad about that!

Yes, I actually liked the smaller diameter of the Grant wheel, but I don't like that it might mess up my turn signal harness!

I didn't know you had a 67. Did you post some pics of it?

She's alive!!!!!

Bobby got all the new stuff put on & it fired right off! Like my 95 does. Took some pics of the motor. Breather & stuff is off b/c he was tinkering with the carb.

Videos I did, sucks!!

Bobby got the brakes working good enough so I could take it around the block. Never really got faster than a slow crawl. Felt good though!!

After he got it running, he lowered the idle. Sounds just much better now

Congrats!

It sounds real good! I think I like the stock sound better then I do with the Flow Masters I have on it.

Thanks for the pics! And you even gave us some videos!
