I was away all day with getting my 95's seats fixed. When I got back to town, I saw no tailpipes on the 65!! Can't wait 'til tomorrow!!

Well, the way this stuff usually works is if the car had the orginal paint then it might be worth quite a bit. However I'm not really sure about repainting it back to the first color. It probably would help the resale value. That's what I would like to do, paint it back to the orginal "Rangoon Red."

I got a E-mail this week that the 2011 Mustang GT that I ordered will be built the week of April 12th. WOOT! I'm happy about that!

That's a long time for a car isn't it?

I just got back from taking mine out to lunch, and when I got back I saw another paint chip on the right front side! Errr!

I think the paint is fragile on mine, maybe just because it's an old paint job?

It may be an old paint job, not prepped good, or even have a cheap clear coat if it has one.

Yeah, I think it might be as well. But, at least it gives me a excuse for getting it painted!

I just can't afford it right now!

I keep saying I am going to try & clean the interior up some. Keep putting it off. It now has seat covers, looks like **** carpet. I may put new ones on there because I'm not a fan of white stuff. I'm not messy, but not spic & span clean. What are some good covers? Thanks!!

Getting the gables put on my carport in the morning. Moved it from there. I like the sound of it since I added dumps, a lot!! Afraid to really get on it though. Sounds pretty sweet.

Instead of just covers why not replace the upholstry, and the seat foam. I'm sure it needs it?

Your car sounded good on the video you posted.

A lot of the aftermarket Mustang supplyers have full interior upgrade kits at a decent price. I redid my seats and sanded and painted the seat frames to keep the rust down to make them last longer. If you do the covers, do the foam also.

Just thinking out loud, I guess. Have put no thought into it yet. More important stuff than the seats with it still. Thanks!!

Not really car related, finally had my gables added to my carport. I bought them on 1/22/10.

I have Valvoline Max-Life 10W-30 oil in it. I also added the Crower ZDDPlus Oil Additive to it. I did that back on 12/30/09. Since I haven't actually driven this car, when should I change the oil? It was the Synthetic type. I've asked Valvoline & they say still every 3,000 miles. I run this in my 95, I heard to go by the miles. It takes me a while to go 3K miles. How should I do the oil in the 65? Thanks!!

I'm not sure. Maybe once a year then? I might be inclined to go more by the oil looks on the dip stick. Does it looks fresh? Or is it dirty black?

If you drive it much in this heat, you might want to go with a 40 weight oil. Here's what my shop uses. They work on mainly 1st and 2nd generation Mustangs.

Shell Rotella T Heavy Duty Motor Oil

Good to see you back. How's the Mustang project going?

I try & start it once every say 2 weeks. Other than that, nothing. Lisa, car's owner, told me she's about able to start back with it. I keep saying I will wash it. Messed up & it is just too hot outside now! Nothing has changed on it.
