We just purchased a '89 Supra comp ts6m boat. It has a 351 Cleveland in it with a holley. It is obviously marinized. The engine has not been run in 4 years or so. I understand the engine is marinized and so is different, but since it is still a similar block ect. and everyone on this site is absolutely so knowledgeable I thought I would ask for any suggestions on things to do to make sure we get her running well. Thank you for your insight.

Get an oilpump drive adapter to run the oilpump with an electric drill for a couple minutes. I'd take a valve cover off and pump at least until you see oil coming out at the rockers. I think you have to run the drill in reverse, but not positive. Other than that and priming the carb, I don't know what else to do. The holly might not be in great shape if it was left with fuel in the carb, but you never know.

good luck.
